So now lets talk about the software update with firmware 2.2 and the new Zune Software. It really is a huge improvement. Previously I hated to even open the zune software for more than I needed it to be. It was slow and needlessly complicated.
Now the Zune software has a stripped down GUI which is basically just text. It has clear links to everything you need now. I have to say I love it ! Being able to subscribe to podcasts is so nice to finally have as well. Right now I just have 2 podcasts I subscribe to, Bill Simmons and Diggnation.
The gui on the zune now seems to be more refined, and has the feel of the marketplace. Though the zune update didn't say it was complete for me, and just sat there and i had to hit cancel. Real smooooth. lol. The bottom line is that it is a solid software update to a good mp3 player.
