I mentioned about a month ago about a site I was working on and the day has come to explain it all. Yesterday I officially opened it up to public testing. The site is called celebritypwn.

If you have heard about the website digg, then celebritypwn should feel very familiar. Right now there are hundreds of gossip blogs on the internet. With that many sites, its basically impossible to go to each one every day to find out what news is interesting. So why not have a site that lets people decide what the best gossip is?

Celebritypwn is driven by user submitted picture with news stories (aka PWNs). Each one can be voted on and only the best make it to the front page. The site focuses on the picture aspect of celebrity gossip. People want to see their gossip! So at c-pwn there is a front page of hot pwns and fresh pwns. Plus, each celebrity has their own page of hot and fresh pwns. Nice, neat and organized. Understand all that? Its really quite simple when you see it in action.

The site keeps track of all the stats, which PWNs make it to the front page, which celebrities are the most popular, etc. The loyal people who sign up for the site and submit PWNs will also have their stats tracked. Not everyone's vote is equal. The people who contribute more will have a bigger say in which PWNs make it. Not only that, but people are split up into celebrity gossip classes based on your stats. If that doesn't sound fun. . . I don't know what is.

There are plenty more features on the site, but I won't mention them all. Some features aren't even on the site yet. So beta test and give feedback. Check it out. :)
