Bears come back from no where to beat the Cardinals. Rex Grossman could not have played worse and looked absolutely clueless. Despite his six turnovers, the Bears managed to come back. The defense looked just as bad, letting the Cards just march down the field and score two easy TDs. The Cards had plenty of chances to put the game out of reach. Most of the Bears turnovers were in their own territory, but the Cards only got field goals out of it. Basically, they played not to lose. Conservatively running for no reason rather than passing as they did in the first quarter. It took just one play to turn the game around. An unblocked defensive end sacked Lienart and causing the first touchdown for the Bears.
As a Bears fan it does not get any sweeter than this. I am sure only a handful of people actually stayed up to watch the end of this game. So to all of those people who went to bed or just plain didn't watch. . .LOL. So why write about this?
Remember when the Colts played the Bucs about two or three years ago on Monday Night? One of the best games of the year. . well, I missed the end of that one. For horrible reasons too, not even worth mentioning! So this is redemption. This is why football owns. Anyway. . .do yourself a favor and watch sportscenter tomorrow.
And by the way, just because I normally post about geeky things doesn't mean I won't post about sports. After all, I was a sports nut way before a geek.
