I forgot to make a post about this, but beach season is definitely over. I stopped tracking beach days earlier in the week, although it should have been stopped when football started. For some reason, thats how I unofficially end beach season. If it weren't for all the rain we had (8 straight days, the most all summer) when August ended, we would have had a lot more great beach days. I guess it is true afterall, that late in the season has some of the best weather. Turns out my predictions back in May were very accurate for the beach season. I basically said there would be about 65 to 70 beach days and about 20 perfect days. I even got the average wind speed right at 10 - 13mph. lol.

So this means the beach tracker will no longer track the weather until next season :( The good news is that I will put a counter of some sort to say how many days until beach season comes back. That way, when your hands are numb in December you will realize you have a good 5 months before you can even think about the beach. On the bright side, the calendar for next year should have new features. I plan to have a day to day comparision of the same exact day a year ago. And of course, you can compare the totals of the years stats to last year. Maybe in the spring some other ideas might come to me, but thats about it for now.
