Yet another new site feature to announce. . . Site themes! This one, you guys can actually have fun with! On the right bar you will find a new section entitled "Site Theme" with a list of color themes for the site. I've had this idea for awhile but held off doing it because I knew I would find instances where I had to create new CSS styles. Coding the new feature wasnt even too hard, it was finding those annoying instances where I forgot to make a formating class that took up most of my time. But now everything you see on the site has its formating from the external sytlesheet which means. . . . basically nothing to you :) But it is worth mentioning because now those site themes will work correctly. Each theme will have its own banner picture along with the different color styles and perhaps slightly different layout structure.
Right now there are three themes listed. New themes will probably be made solely by myself because I don't know of any person who would devote time changing mass amounts of color hex's. I will definitely be making at least one more theme, green. If you would like to create a banner picture for any of these themes let me know. This also means come holiday time if you come to the site chances are you will see a new holiday theme.
Personally, my favorite theme right now is orange. I spent a good 10 to 15 minutes on that kickass orange banner! Not that the original blue theme is bad or anything, but maybe its just the fact the orange one is brand new? Who knows, in any case enjoy whichever theme you choose. :)
For those of you keeping score ( which would be me ), that means I've covered the main areas of understanding php: forms, file manipulation, mysql databases, cookies, and sessions. I went from knowing absolutely no PHP and CSS, to this in roughly six months. Not too shabby. (thanks to google for the endless php searches)
