Folks, the day is NEARLY upon us where we wave goodbye to Firefox. The problem with Firefox is that it is still a memory hog. It crashes. It lags. It takes 3x as long to load than it should. These have been issues for years that have never been fixed. They owned the geek market for around 5 years and totally blew it.
About a year ago, Google Chrome was released which actually fixes Firefox's biggest downfalls. These have been well documented, so I won't be mentioning them again. The only thing it lacked was extensions. It's been a few days since extensions are available for PC users, and it looks promising. We are still missing out on a lot of the polish and features of Firefox extensions, but I have a feeling they will come and it will make everyone switch. I still want to see a downloadthemall extension, better SEO extensions, delicious support, better ad blockers, and tree style tabs.
As of today, I am going to use Chrome as my fulltime browser. Already my computer feels less sluggish. :)
