There are a lot of web analytical programs out there to track traffic stats.  Personally I want to have at least 2 traffic analyzers for each website. Awstats (which is a must) and a secondary stat tracker such as Google Analytics.  The problem with Google and awstats is that they do not show realtime stats.  Perhaps GetClicky is a better alternative for realtime stat tracking that is worth buying.

GetClicky offers realtime stats with a variety of different plans.  Realistically the 'Free" version won't give you much of anything and the "Blogger" version doesn't track bounce rate or let you create goals.  I recommend Pro or better for stat tracking.

The quality of the service is pretty damn impressive.  Stats are usually only 5 - 15 minutes behind in realtime.  It has everything you could want in a stat tracker and is very well organized.  (What's the use of good stats if you can't find what you are looking for?)  It is missing an hourly visitor graph to see what times your site is most popular, but other than that its great. The best part about the service is the fact it is actively developed and churns out new features faster than any other stat tracker out there.  In fact, the hourly stat breakdown is something that is expected to be released this Spring.

I can go on and on about the service but the best thing for you to do is check out GetClicky and the demo and see for yourself why its worth the money.
